Staying Positive!

Happy Friday! I hope you all have a great weekend on this Easter Bank Holiday Weekend (Dont drink to much..) I havnt been doing much with my blog the last while but I apologize, I have not been myself the last while, but I am back in the zone!  So today’s topic is something that has been lingering in my mind for a couple of weeks.

After reading Jens post this morning (TooDollyMakeup)Just give up…. Your not going to succeed” here  … thats when I made my mind up. This post is about staying positive when going through rough times and when you are finding it difficult you need to look on the brighter side of things 🙂

You can be known as the person who never fails to smile or be the happiest person in the world, but when you are faced with challenges that seem beyond your control, it can be difficult to stay positive! Our problems can seem too much at times but remember looking on the bright side will change your mood and pull you out of your negativity and help you stay on top of everything!
Here are some ways you can stay positive when the going gets tough:
* Think about what makes you happy – Surround yourself with things or people that make you happy, it can be ANYTHING. Whether it’s your family or friends, listening to your favourite song or just getting involved in a hobby.
* Focus on the good things.
* Your goal –  It is actually quite easy staying positive when you are working towards something you are passionate about but remind yourself of your goals at all times!! Think about where you are going, rather than where you currently stand.
*Dont bottle up feelings –  I’m the perfect example of someone that bottles up all her emotions , leaving things over my head and eventually explode! I’m slowly changing and getting more comfortable with talking it out to someone, usually my mam or boyfriend. I am telling you it honestly feels so good when you’ve finally got it all out there!
* No Comparisons – Growing up my mother always told me to never compare myself to others. Comparing yourself to someone will only make you unhappy.. It also distracts you from the main focus which is YOU!

There is always light at the end of the tunnel. It may be hard at that this certain time to believe this but you need to change your way of thinking and stay strong! Look on the bright side 🙂
